Welcome to the October 22, 2009 edition of athletic alley blog carnival. Paul Reyes-Fournier shares an excellent article with a creative way to spend quality fitness time with your kid when the weather isn’t co-operating. Allen Moll gives an early look at who might (and might not) get a lot of court time on the Pistons and Magic teams this upcoming season. Charles Salazar demonstrates that to some athletes doing what is necessary to help your family takes precedence over being allowed to compete in future competition. FavreDollarFootlong presents a humorous look at his need for a fresh sports channel that “…cover(s) what the mainstream media won’t…” Submissions are due by 8:00 PM (EST) on Tuesdays. The carnival will be posted at noon the following Thursday. Your submission can be focused on any sport, at any level. Athletic Alley and the contributors welcome your comments on the featured posts. I hope you enjoy the submissions. Keep those sports related articles coming. It is my hope that you consider this a fun and easy way to get the word out about the sport (or sports) you love to play and/or watch. If you know someone whose writing would be a good addition to the weekly blog carnival or to Athletic Alley itself, please point them this way.
