Stripper Pole Home Workout

by Alley on June 24, 2010

A lot of the time, for many of us anyway, most types of workouts are really boring and hard to stick with.

We know we need to look after ourselves in order to be healthy, which includes exercising, but more often than not, we just aren’t motivated enough to stick with a workout program.

If this sounds like you, then it’s time you started doing a workout that you will actually find fun.

Have you ever considered installing a stripper’s pole in your home? Yes, a stripper’s pole. They’re not just for strippers any more.

More and more people these days are getting stripper’s poles, not because they want to take up stripping as a sideline, but because it is a really fun way to get in shape.

And it is actually a really great workout, using pretty much every muscle in your body, so it is as beneficial as an aerobic workout.

The real bonus is that you do not have to leave your home to work out and the equipment isn’t all that expensive.

Take a Class First

Okay, so you’ve gone out and bought a stripper’s pole and have installed it in your home. Now what? Well, you need to learn how to use it.

There are videos available that you can use, but it may be more beneficial to take a few classes, so you can learn the exercises that are going to benefit you the most.

Because this is becoming such a popular form of exercise in the past few years, you can find classes in most cities.

If you do not feel comfortable learning the moves in a group setting, you can also take private classes.

It is quite important that you learn how to do the moves properly, because you do not want to hurt yourself by doing things the wrong way, which can end up in muscle strains and even falling.

Once you have learned the basics, you can bring this knowledge home and work out in privacy (unless of course you are confident enough to show off for your partner, which can end up with even more of a workout).

I have heard of taking stripper pole lapdance lessons as part of a bachelorette party. I haven’t tried it myself yet. I am hoping that I get invited to one though.

Sounds like it would make a great gift for my hubby for his birthday or maybe our anniversary. I think he might enjoy that.

I’ve read several articles about it, well some trainers had used it to their clients to get fit in a fun way. Pole dancing had been quite famous now well not just for strippers but also to people who wants to get fit in a fun way.

Well, this is my first visit to your blog! We are a group of volunteers and starting a new initiative in a regional community in the same niche. Your blog provided us valuable information to work on. You’ve done a marvellous job!
